About the show

¡Qué oso! is a podcast of short stories in easy Spanish for A1–A2 learners. Every Monday, Paloma and Nacho meet on a video call, and each tells a story about an everyday situation that went wrong.

¡Qué oso! is Mexican Spanish for “how embarrassing!”. In Spain you'd say ¡qué corte! And yes, oso also means bear.
